Raymond James welcomes New York advisor pair managing $130 million in assets
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Kevin Vasilik and Kristi Rossy to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel –according to Alex David, Northeast division director for RJFS.
At Wayfinder Wealth Management, based in Bohemia, New York, the advisors provide sophisticated financial guidance to business owners, families and individuals throughout their lifelong financial journey. They arrive from Ameriprise Financial where they previously managed approximately $130 million in client assets.
“The culture at Raymond James, as a firm centered on client and advisor relationships, made for a natural platform for Kristi and myself to build our independent practice,” said Vasilik. “I’m confident that our clients will feel the difference as we leverage the firm’s leading-edge technology and robust home office support to provide an enhanced experience.”
As president and CEO of the practice, Vasilik offers nearly 30 years of advisory experience. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Vasilik dedicated 15 years to a career in the chemical industry after receiving a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from William Paterson University. His expertise in finance is supported by his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation, along with extensive knowledge and training in insurance and investments. This foundation enables him to create tailored financial strategies for both straightforward and complex challenges.
Rossy serves as managing director of the practice and began her financial services career with Vasilik in 2008, she continually advanced to become joint owner of the practice. Over the past 17 years, her ongoing education in financial services and securities licensing has enabled her to excel in various roles, including branch operations, compliance administration, associate branch manager and financial advisor, within the financial industry. A graduate of Stony Brook University, she holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology.
